Does God really exist? Isn’t he just something that kids or the weak minded believe in? Let’s take a quick look at how we know that the creator God of the Bible exists.

A Painting

If we see a painting (like the Mona Lisa at the right), we know there must have been a painter. All we need to determine this is eyes that can see and a mind that works. The picture did not just appear. Someone had to paint it.

A Building

Similarly, when you see a building (like the Empire State Building at the left), you know there must have been a builder (and an architect, a huge crew of construction workers, etc. All we need to determine this is eyes that can see and a mind that works. The building did not just appear. It did not happen by random chance or accident. It did not appear due to erosion or some explosion. Someone had design and build it. 

A Creation

Finally, look around you. Starting with your own body. The eye that you use to see is made of millions of cells that did not just happen by accident. You heart pumps blood through veins. They all work perfectly together. We live on this giant ball called earth that free floats in space and orbits the sun with seven other planets. All of these bodies are in perfect alignment with each other. We can look out into space and see more and more of creation. Science can help explain how it operates. However, science can not explain where it came from. Just like the painting implies a painter and the building implies a builder, the creation is proof that there must be a creator!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; The skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1)

The only logical conclusion is that God exists. Therefore, we must prepare for the day of our death when God will judge us based on he ten commandments. The only way to be reconciled to God is through the Gospel Message.
